Unique in California Wine Country, this pastoral restaurant floats above the vines with panoramic views of Alexander Valley. Chef Douglas Keane’s distinctive Dining Journey is a progressive tasting menu designed to transport each guest through a series of spaces and experiences. An evening at Cyrus begins in the Bubbles Lounge where a glittering Champagne and Martini cart beckons. A welcoming treat appears from the kitchen as guests sip libations, free to sink into a leather lounge chair or wander the gardens and take in the vineyard views. The journey then moves to the Kitchen Table where diners engage with the chefs and observe as courses are prepared before them with the spectacle of the bustling kitchen beyond. The next leg of the journey brings each party to their table in the dining room with its sweeping views of Alexander Valley. A succession of beautifully plated courses finishing with dessert and sweet bites follows. The last stop of the evening’s tour leads to the mysterious Chocolate Room with a final surprise and a parting gift of house-made chocolate.
