It’s no surprise that the Upper West Side’s decades-old de facto brasserie plays the French classics very nicely. Still, Nice Matin feels like a well-kept neighborhood secret, with an excellent wine list to boot. Pro tip: This is where chef Andy D’Amico originally created the burger that launched the Five Napkin mini-chain, so you may not want to sleep on the truffle cheddar one here.
