Chateau Royale, from the team behind Libertine, is as regal as it sounds, and it’s yet another great addition to New York’s long tradition of outstanding French restaurants. At the intimate, dimly lit downstairs bar room, you'd do well to order yourself an excellent martini and the much talked-about chien chaud (hot dog) but whatever you do, don't overlook the escargots or pommes frites, too.
