Makahiki - The Bounty of the Islands

Step inside a festive, family-friendly restaurant inspired by the Makahiki season—the traditional Hawaiian celebration of the harvest. Here, the Makahiki story comes to life through delectable food, local artwork, intricate stained glass, jewel-toned murals and dramatic lighting. Dine indoors amid artful décor—or dine al fresco on a lovely lanai overlooking a koi pond. Makahiki – The Bounty of the Islands is open daily. Dining reservations can be made 45 days in advance.

Start your day with a bountiful breakfast—and see some beloved Disney Characters. Satisfy your appetite with a 3-course breakfast featuring fresh, local ingredients. Then, enjoy your choice of entrée—with delicious options ranging from classic American dishes to island-inspired fare.   Mimosas and Aloha Marys are available for Guests ages 21 and older. Disney Characters & Entertainment Be on the lookout for Mickey Mouse and some of his pals—appearing daily during breakfast at Makahiki. Upon arrival and throughout your meal, enjoy opportunities to take photos with Disney Characters.   While you dine, delight in live entertainment from Aunty or Uncle.

Savor a delicious 3-course dinner featuring seasonal ingredients. Your meal includes your choice of one starter, one entrée and one dessert—with multiple options for each course. The dinner menu showcases an enticing array of dishes, including succulent seafood, juicy steaks, plant-based cuisine and more. Guests ages 21 and older may select from a full bar menu that features a variety of wines, beers and spirits—including Hawaiian-inspired cocktails. Alcoholic beverages are separately priced. Menu offerings and prices are subject to change.

Makahiki is conveniently located on the first floor of the main building, adjacent to The ‘Ōlelo Room. The lanai overlooks a shimmering koi pond beside the Waikolohe Valley pool area.
